Tatkal services for all transfer cases

November 27, 2015The Chandigarh Housing Board in its 392nd meeting has approved the tatkal service for all transfer cases in Chandigarh Housing Board.
An applicant shall apply under ‘Tatkal’ service for transfer of dwelling unit in his/her/their names with duly completed documents in all respects as per check list given in the Citizens’ Charter. An additional amount of Rs.50,000/- will be charged from the applicant as ‘Tatkal’ service for transfer of dwelling units. The Board will transfer the said dwelling unit within a period of five working days including the day of application.
Further-more, it is hereby clarified by the Chandigarh Housing Board that the fee of Rs.50,000/- for ‘Tatkal’ services for giving effect to transfers within five working days including the day of application, applies only to all categories of HIG(Ind), HIG (Upper) and HIG (Lower).
For all applicants of the categories of MIG -I (Ind), MIG – II (Ind), MIG (Upper), MIG (Lower), MIG Duplex, the ‘Tatkal’ service fee shall be Rs.40,000/- only.
For applicants of LIG (Upper), LIG (Lower), LIG Duplex, the ‘Tatkal’ service fee shall be Rs. 30,000/- only.
For applicants of EWS category, wherever transfers are allowed, the ‘Tatkal’ service fee shall be Rs. 20,000/- only.
The time taken for giving effect to transfers under ‘Tatkal’ service, for all above categories are five working days including the day of application.
